Hello, Everybody

Since that wonderful day in Mimai Beach when I read the article from Joe Kita about saying 'Hello' to every person I find in my path my life has become better.

Sometimes it is difficult to remember to say 'Hi' or 'Hello' as much of possible because most of the time we are thinking something that most likely takes our attention away to actually acknowledge that there is one person in front of you that deserves a 'Hello' from you...

This is ironic, the other day I was in the lunch room getting my coffee and I said 'Hi' to a co-worker and he didn't say "Hi" back; 10 seconds later he came back and I asked 'did you purposely ignore me?, I say 'Hi' to you and you didn't say anything back to me' and then he said: "No, I said 'Hi' back to you, maybe you need to clean your ears" It is so funny, he didn't even moved his lips to say 'Hi', but he actually believed that he said 'Hi', but he didn't, huh!

I will keep practicing saying 'Hi' or 'Hello' to every person I find in my path, it makes my life so much easier and fun.

Give it a try and let me know how it went...

Dichotomy

The marvelous USA is a country moved by technology and pushed by wonderful ideas from people from different backgrounds. I did realized that starting this blog would put me on great advantage against the people that does not have a blog. I would like to belong, not really sure to what, but I would like to belong to something like a really nice an advanced society.

I was raced in a culture where old people is respected and appreciated, and women are the center of the Universe. I do really respect old people, I think they are really wise, smart, and they have so much information to share with us the: “young people". I would like to cheer and promote serious respect and appreciation for old people. "The Devil is wise not because he is the Devil; the Devil is wise because he is old…"

An old dude to be…

No blood no pain...

One rehearsal more, one day of fun...
Moving your body at the rhythm of the music, moving your body and the rhythm of the group, of our partner, following the music that comer from inside on you. Listen to the voices of the ones that love you, that want to be with you, close to you...

The symmetry on the flow and the movements made you face smile, made your heart beat harder. Can you hear it?

Communitation in Meetings

Yesterday I was in a meeting down in Bloomington, MN with about 20 people. 5 of those people flew in from California a couple days ago, and the rest was people from Minnesota. Those 15 people were representing 4 companies, one of those 4 is a member of corporate America.

We were working together for the last 18 months or so, and we had never had the opportunity to be all together at the same time. That meeting as a tremendous success, the information went from one side to the other, some people got upset, then happy, then worried, but the general outcome was outstanding.

I keep wondering how would the outcome of this meeting be if we would have used Speekco during the last 18 months? fast communication, interactive ideas, everything.

10 hours in the meeting, couldn't believe it; we finished our meeting at about 7:00pm and then we went to a local bar with my boss and my other 2 co-workers for 2 rap-up-meeting-pitchers of Fat Tire, what a beer, I love it!

speakco

This feels so great! After playing with some of my favorite image editing software we finally got the image and logos ready to show it to you and to the rest of the world...

The first logo is the one at the top of the page that says: "Speekco", and the other one is "speakco".
Many people usually ask us what Speekco is, and there is no one definition for it. Speek sounds like Speak, and co stands for: company, corporation, community, communication, couture, who knows... and on the other hand Speakco is the same but with a different approach.

Sounds cool isn't it?

The brainstorming!

Like many of you...

Today is my first day with the blog. I feel a bit lost with all the buttons and commands, but I'll figure it out at some point.

This is just the beginning of a great venture with my loved ones. From now on you have to listen carefully. English, Spanish, who knows, but listen carefully.

there will be a point where listening is just a step for you to go to the next level, in the next level, You have to say it!

I'll be listening...
